100% FREE STUFF shipped right to your door.

Once a week I feel I will cover something non domain related to keep you entertained on my blog. I might normally make that special day Friday because it's the end of another boring dreary hardworking week and because it's the day that no one is sitting around thinking of doing any work. We all want to get outta our jobs and pack our bags and go on a weekend vacation.

I have an exciting topic I would like to address and that is receiving 100% legitimate stuff right to your door. Now before you start getting skeptical and groaning and saying what a bunch of crap, everything I'm writing here is 100% true.

There is this UNBELIEVABLE website run by one of the NICEST people. His name is Chris. (send him a compliment in the commentary section and tell him you found his website through kalmanizer's domainer.me blog - I promise I get no commission for it) The website is called http://www.freestufftimes.com and everything that Chris posts is 100% legitimate free stuff.

It works like this.....

You visit http://www.freestufftimes.com and then you click on one of the links that's displayed on his website and then you just put in your contact info and kaput that's it. I do recommend though (not using your own email address) signing up for a new email address just to receive the free stuff so you won't receive any other junk from these companies giving away the free offers. Some places insist that you give a telephone number. (giving my telephone number, only 3 times did a company actually call me) If you don't want to give out your number then I recommend you going to http://www.grandcentral.com or http://www.brring.com.

Tip 1: Use an autofill. Google Toolbar has one. Enter all your information in the autofill and click save so when entering a site offering a freebie, with a single click on the autofill button and it will enter all your stored information for you on the site you want to fill out.

Tip 2: Did you know that if you have T-mobile and you are signed up for the 5 free favorites that you can get free incoming minutes. That's right. It's true. All you have to do is sign up for a secondary number and add it to one of your 5 free favorites and then you tell people to call you on the secondary number and it will be considered as one of the 5 free favorites.

That's all for today folks. Back to the topic of domain names on Monday. :)

Google Alerts! What Are They & How Can I Benefit Off Them?

G' afernoon folks. It's time for another interesting lesson with the Domainer. :)

I was going to discuss how to to earn maximum revenue parking your domain names but I had a couple of requests to discuss Google Alerts so I have decided to switch topics and I will discuss parking companies and keywords another day.

Today's topic will be on Google Alerts. Now what the heck is Google Alerts and how is that going to benefit me in the domain business you ask. Well I'll tell ya. :) It works like this........

Say you want to find some more expired domain names or you want to read up on expired domain names. Google Alerts is a tool where you can enter in a keyword relevant to the info you want to receive. Now you can configure I believe for them to send you an email every day on the keywords you chose or once a week. Now each time you receive an email you will have helpful websites on the topics you chose. You might even receive an email with websites that actually have some free expired domain software for you to use.

You can find out more by visiting http://www.google.com/alerts

Here is a little something I like to do as well to build up some traffic to my blog.
As we all know my blog URL is www.domainer.me I like to sign up for Google Alerts on "Domain Names." (there is a also an option in Google Alerts if you would like to sign up for news, blogs, web, comprehensive, video, and groups. Choose the option that says "comprehensive" and your emails will consist of news, blogs, and web) Now everyday when I receive the Google Alerts I open it (Google Alerts shows a couple of links to websites much like making a search on Google only Google Alert links are based on specific topics that were just written that same day - totally new info) and I click on each link. I visit the website and if there is a commentary section I write something useful in there. Many websites will allow you to place a link in the commentary section. Now I'm building up some more traffic to my website. Be careful though. Don't just enter the commentary section and write "Hey I want you to visit my site" because most moderators will remove your comment or possibly ban you for spamming. Write something post related and then say if you want more information you can visit this and this site just and I repeat just don't write anything that sounds like you are spamming. Some places don't even allow links so if you write a comment make sure to right click and save your comment so you can use it on the next related website you visit.

Here's another quick example. Say I own the domain name www.myspacecountrymusic.com (which I actually own.) I want to build up some traffic on it so hopefully someone will buy my domain name one day. I signed up for Google alerts on "Country Music" Now today's story through Google Alerts is on the Country band called "Rascal Flatts." (I chose to mention that Country group because I believe most of you heard of them) I write my opinion and beliefs on Rascal Flatts followed by the comment "what Country Music needs is a www.myspacecountrymusic.com for all our Country Music needs." Now the moderators doesn't believe that I am spamming (heck they probably don't even think I own that domain name) and they will allow my comment to be posted along with that particular website URL. Remember don't add in "please visit my website www.myspacecountrymusic.com" or the moderator is just going to think that you are spamming and remove your comment.

Well that's all for today folks cya back here for another wonderful lesson tomorrow. :)

Want An Idea For The Value Of Your Domain Name(s)

Here is a little trick I discovered by accident and a quick phone call to TDNAM told me that it was 100% legal.

Say you're not ready to sell your domain name but you're just curious how much people are willing to spend or bid on it. You can go to www.tdnam.com (godaddy's auction aftermarket place) Signup for a new account (I believe it cost $5.00 for the year) Now you can place your domain name in a 7 day auction and let people bid on it. Now all the way up to the last minute you can click on the cancel button and your domain name will delete from the auction. The beauty of it is you're not obligated to sell. (make sure you remember to cancel the auction because if you don't and the auction ends then you're screwed)

Why TDNAM allows it is beyond me but they do.

REMEMBER!! These GREAT tips and more only at www.domainer.me

Question for you folks. Do you feel that it's kinda wrong to do this even though TDNAM gives the A+ ok? Please post in the commentary section. Thank you! :)

Small Tip Of The Day

I have added this new domain advertisement feature to my blog.

If you have anything new you want me to address or you need some FREE (don't we all LOVE free) advice on domain names or something related you go to www.domainchat.me and you can chat with me. (well that is if I happen to be on there. I don't have a set schedule yet.) You can also go the right side of the screen and you will see where it says www.domainchat.me (A place for domainers to chat with me) Underneath the rectangular blox click on where it says "full screen" and it will automatically take you to the chat.

Please if you become a fan of my blog please post in the commentary section. It will let me know that I am not talking to the four corners of my computer screen, lol.

Tip: You can get the same free goodie if you visit www.chatango.com - A GREAT way to attract new visitors to your site. You can create a title and advertise your website in the title and other users are able to find you on the site. Don't forget to add the html coding that chatango gives you or it won't display on your site or blog.

Please read the post right underneath this one. I came up with this unique idea for my site and I was hoping that you will enjoy it. I came up with this brainstorm after someone had asked me about a domain name that i had for sale. Please read below. Thanks!

Every Monday You Can List Your Domain Names For Sale In The Commentary Section

I would like to thank this WONDERFUL person Mike Mathews for giving me this new idea. Mike (thank you Mike) from tvdn.tv (don't forget to check out his domain names for sale site) had emailed me inquiring if domainer.me was for sale and that gave me the BRILLIANT idea to start what I am about to mention now......

I think I will make every Monday a day for you (my blog fans) to list any domain names that you may have for sale in the commentary section along with your email address so others may contact you should they be interested in any domain names you may be selling. I am NOT asking for any commission. At least for the time being. I do have to earn a salary though and I will do everything to prevent making any money off of you except for my domain names that I list for sale and for the Google ads displayed. ( I hate it when I work hard to sell my domain names only for a website to eat up most of my percentage in fees, don't you?) All I ask is that you be friendly and courteous. You may also ask others for advice on your domain names and see if others feel you have a hot seller domain name that may be worth thousands, maybe even millions. (If you have a domain name that is worth millions please don't forget me, lol, jk. :-D)

Please do me one favor. Every Monday will be the day to post your domain names and ask for friendly advice. (I need a catchy phrase for this specific category Monday post. Anybody have one?) Any other posts I have please don't list your domain names for sale (except for the Monday post) but you can always list your url or Company Name in any post I have so long you write something post related.

That's pretty much the only rules I have. I don't want my blog to be a boring blog and so I don't want to make too many strict and ridiculous rules. I don't even ask you to sign up and enter all of your information to post a comment because I know that it's such a pain in the neck.

I am thinking that on Tuesday I may discuss how to optimize your keywords on domain names that you own to earn maximum revenue on places where your domain names are parked. What do you (my blog fans) think?

Ok last thing. (I am soooo afraid of boring you to death with my long post) I have only been in the domain business for 2 yrs and I have made a REALLY nice profit but I do want you to know that no matter how experienced you (and I) are at domain names you (and I) can always learn something new and I hope you will teach me a thing or 2 just like I am teaching you. Nobody in this world knows everything about anything that they are good at. (I sure hope that that made sense.) Please feel free to berate me (hopefully in a nice manner) if you disagree with something that I wrote. I will publish all comments as long as they are not spam and the comments are domain related.

P.S. Of course please don't forget to add my website to your favorites because you don't want to miss out on any exciting topics that may be relevant to you. :-)

What Domain Topics Would People Like For Me To Address?

Hey folks,

Today is only my 3rd day owning a blog. I was thinking of making a schedule on specific topics and then each day of the week that specific topic would be addressed.

For example I was thinking that every Monday I might list a new and interesting website to list your domain names for sale. Maybe Tuesday I would list new domain names that I have for sale. Wednesday could be ideas on how to optimize your keywords to receive the best pay per clicks and so forth and so forth.....

I need some ideas on what topics people are interested in reading. There's no point in starting a topic that no one is interested in.

Email me for ideas at info@domainer.me

Please note the ideas I mentioned above for specific topics they are just ideas and I am not sure if I am going to address them or not. Let me know if you are interested. :)

Your Parking Company Not Paying You Enough In Pay Per Clicks?

Is the parking company that you are using now not paying you enough in pay per clicks. Are your domain names earning you VERY little in revenue while your parking company is making a fortune off of you? If you own at least 200 domain names or are making at least $200 in revenue you can apply for Sedo Pro. In order to apply you need a Sedo Pro member to give you an endorsement code. Please email me your full name and email address or if you would like more information you can also email me to info@domainer.com

You will earn a much bigger percentage of the revenue if your domain names are accepted into Sedo Pro.
